Network Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and maintain LAN, WAN, WLAN, and network security solutions.
• Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and other network hardware.
• Monitor network performance, identify issues, and implement improvements.
• Ensure network security through best practices, access controls, and threat mitigation.
• Provide technical support for network-related incidents and service requests.
• Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, diagrams, and processes.
• Collaborate with IT teams on upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure projects.
• Manage network capacity, redundancy, and disaster recovery planning.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as a Network Engineer or Network Administrator.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, etc.).
• Experience with Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, or similar network technologies.
• Familiarity with firewalls, IDS/IPS, and general cybersecurity principles.
• Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios).
• Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent (preferred).
