Network Engineer

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and proactive Network Engineer to manage and maintain enterprise network infrastructure in a KPO/RCM environment. The role involves ensuring high availability, data security, and performance optimization for critical healthcare operations while maintaining compliance with industry standards such as HIPAA.

Key Responsibilities Network Management & Operations

• Design, implement, and maintain LAN, WAN, VPN, and Wi-Fi networks
• Monitor network performance and ensure maximum uptime and availability
• Troubleshoot network issues and perform root cause analysis
• Manage firewalls, routers, switches, and load balancers Security & Compliance
• Ensure adherence to HIPAA and data security standards
• Implement network security policies, firewalls, and access controls
• Monitor and mitigate security threats and vulnerabilities
• Conduct security audits and compliance checks Infrastructure & System Support
• Support voice networks (VoIP) and telephony systems (important for RCM operations)
• Maintain network documentation and configurations
• Collaborate with IT, application, and operations teams for seamless system integration
• Ensure business continuity and disaster recovery readiness Performance & Optimization
• Analyze network traffic and optimize bandwidth utilization
• Implement monitoring tools for performance tracking
• Support scalability for growing operations and client requirements Vendor & Stakeholder Management
• Coordinate with vendors, ISPs, and service providers
• Manage hardware procurement, installation, and upgrades
• Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams

Key Requirements

• 3–6 years of hands-on experience in network engineering / IT infrastructure
• Experience in KPO, BPO, or Healthcare RCM environment preferred
• Strong knowledge of:
• TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
• Routing & Switching (Cisco, Juniper, etc.)
• Firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, etc.)
• Experience with VPNs, MPLS, and cloud networking (AWS/Azure preferred)
• Understanding of network security and compliance standards (HIPAA preferred)

Qualifications
