Network Engineer

Job description

We are looking for a skilled Network Engineer. The candidate will be responsible for network maintenance, troubleshooting, technical support, and ensuring smooth day-to-day network operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain network infrastructure and connectivity.
• Troubleshoot LAN/WAN and network-related issues.
• Handle network incidents, service requests, and technical escalations.
• Perform network configuration and basic troubleshooting of Cisco devices.
• Diagnose connectivity, routing, switching, and related network issues.
• Coordinate with internal teams and customers for timely issue resolution.
• Maintain proper documentation of network incidents and activities.
• Provide on-site technical support as required.
• Ensure network services are available and functioning efficiently.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Networking fundamentals.
• Hands-on knowledge of Cisco networking devices.
• Knowledge of LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, Switching & Routing.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Customer-facing / IT support experience will be an advantage.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Educational Qualification

Option 1:
B.E./B.Tech in Electronics / Computer Science / IT with minimum 1 year of experience in Network Maintenance/Support along with CCNA certification.

OR

Option 2:
Diploma in Electronics / Computer Science / IT with minimum 2 years of experience in Network Maintenance/Support along with CCNA certification.

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as a Network Engineer or above.
• Candidates with experience in IT Infrastructure / Network Support / IT Services are preferred.

Certification

• CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) Mandatory
