About this role
Own the network and infrastructure layer across the entire ecosystem - servers, CI/CD pipelines, bare-metal management, hardware engineering, infrastructure scaling, DevOps practices, security hardening, and operational management.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage server infrastructure on leased bare metal in India
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and rollback procedures
- Manage hardware procurement, rack configuration, and data-centre relationships
- Scale infrastructure - load balancing, auto-scaling, capacity planning, and traffic management
- Implement DevOps practices - infrastructure-as-code, GitOps, observability, and incident response
- Harden security - firewall management, intrusion detection, VPN configuration, and access controls
- Strong Linux system administration and networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, BGP, VLANs)
- Hands-on experience with bare-metal server management and data-centre operations
- Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes (or K3s), and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible)
- Experience with CI/CD systems (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins)
- Understanding of network security - firewalls, IDS/IPS, TLS, VPN, zero-trust architectures
- Hardware engineering awareness - server specs, storage, networking equipment
