About this role
NOC Engineer
Experience: 5+ years in network operations or engineering
Responsibilities:
- Act as the offshore technical lead and highest technical escalation point in the NOC.
- Support P1 major incidents with deep troubleshooting alongside the onsite L4s.
- Own monitoring tool health and alert rule tuning across NNM, ThousandEyes and NetScout.
- Review and approve change plans, including emergency changes outside business hours.
- Lead capacity planning and technical reporting.
- Review RCAs and mentor L3 engineers.
Required skills:
- Expert routing, switching, WAN/SD-WAN, firewalls and DNS/DHCP/IPAM.
- Hands-on with NNM, ThousandEyes, NetScout, Infoblox, Palo Alto Firewalls and SASE.
- ServiceNow incident, problem and change.
- Scripting (Python) is a plus.
Preferred certifications: CCNP/CCIE, PCNSE, ITIL v4 Foundation.
