Network Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain LAN/WAN network infrastructure.
• Configure, monitor and troubleshoot Cisco Routers, Switches and Firewalls.
• Perform routing & switching configuration and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on knowledge of VLAN, STP/RSTP, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, NAT.
• Working knowledge of routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP/EIGRP.
• Monitor network performance through NMS/monitoring tools and resolve network incidents within defined SLA.
• Troubleshoot connectivity, packet loss, latency and link-related issues.
• Coordinate with ISP/service providers and OEM vendors for network-related issues.
• Support firewall, VPN and basic network security activities.
• Maintain network documentation, incident reports, configuration records and network diagrams.
• Participate in network implementation, upgradation and preventive maintenance activities.
• Provide L1/L2 network support and escalate complex issues to higher support teams.

Preferred:
CCNA/CCNP certification and experience in large enterprise / PSU / data-centre / NOC environments.
