Network Engineer L3(Cisco Wireless)

We have an urgent requirement for Network Engineer L3(Cisco Wireless) Profile for NIC Project for Delhi location.

Job Description for Cisco Wireless

1.Deep understanding of WLAN technologies, network management, and security, including IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax WLAN standards and industry best practices.
2. Excellent understanding of Cisco wireless infrastructure and architecture. Good hands-on experience with Wireless LAN controller-8500/9800 series and Cisco APs troubleshooting as well as with the Cisco WLC IOS Code upgrade.
3. Hands on Experience on Cisco WLC models like 9800, 8500, 5508 with HA SSO and all models of Cisco APs including wave 2 and next generation 9100 series APs.
4. Deploy and configure WLC in HA mode and test / validate / document HA capabilities
5. Must have experience on next generation wireless solutions IOS-XE (9800 WLC and 9100 AP).
6. Experience on 802.1X Authentication protocols WPA2/WPA3-Enterprise, Web portal authentication, Role based access control (RBAC) Policies.
7. Solid knowledge and recent experience with current and upcoming wireless RF standards on Wi-Fi, 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be. Extensive knowledge of security protocols and authentication (Wi-Fi Protected Access [WPA2/WPA3], Extensible Authentication Protocol-Transport Layer Security [EAP-TLS], Extensible Authentication Protocol-PEAP, 802.1X, Authentication, Authorization, Accounting [AAA]) and Multi-Factor Authentication.
8. Level 3 skills and knowledge on wireless protocols, traffic flow, end to end wireless network topology, encryption, and roaming architecture.
9. Excellent Network troubleshooting skills and must be able to quickly identify and resolve network related issues in smallest possible time.
10. Fundamental knowledge of switching / routing protocols and authentication.
11. Experience with Cisco Prime, DNAC a plus.
12. Hands on knowledge and understanding of Cisco ISE and Cisco MSE will be added advantage.
13. Able to handle all L3 level escalations
14. Perform physical restoration of device and configurations
15. Interact with the client on a day-to-day basis and understand changes in the process
16. Upgrade IOS and patches as per schedule.
17. Handles all changes as per the change management process.
18. Work on complex problem tickets and trend analysis to resolve repeated wireless issues.
19. Client Site visit if necessary.
20. Passive and Active Survey using tools like Ekahau sidekick, Netspot, Fluke Networks.

Minimum experience: 6 years relevant experience on Primary skill

Certifications:
Desired: Cisco Certified
