    • Define multi-year modernization plans for network resiliency, security, automation, supportability, and simplification.
    • Align network capabilities with business priorities, cloud strategy, regulatory obligations, cyber requirements, and operational needs.
    • Define product KPIs, OKRs, service levels, technical debt plans, capacity trends, and platform health metrics.
    • Partner with engineering, operations, security, procurement, and finance teams to support roadmap execution and investment planning.
    Technical Product Leadership
    • Act as the senior product owner and technical authority for enterprise route/switch networking across data centers, data rooms, campus, WAN, and cloud connectivity.
    • Provide product direction for Cisco Catalyst 9000, Cisco Nexus, Arista switching, routers, load balancer connectivity, DCI, and network segmentation patterns.
    • Guide architecture standards for VXLAN EVPN fabrics, L2/L3 designs, routing domains, high availability, resiliency, and failover patterns.
    • Ensure network standards account for OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, route redistribution, multicast, QoS, network segmentation, and secure connectivity requirements.
    • Review product risks, design gaps, lifecycle exposure, and operational friction points across the global network estate.
    Network Observability and Intelligence
    • Own product strategy for syslog, telemetry, packet visibility, network performance monitoring, configuration compliance, and network maps.
    • Improve visibility into device health, topology, routing state, capacity, configuration drift, fault domains, and service impact.
    • Drive adoption of proactive monitoring, event correlation, root cause analysis, and automated runbook capabilities.
    • Establish network health dashboards used by operations, engineering, security, and leadership teams.
    Lifecycle, Risk, and Compliance

    • Partner with cyber, risk, and operations teams to prioritize patching, remediation, modernization, and compensating controls.
    • Ensure audit-ready documentation, ownership clarity, design traceability, and standard evidence for critical network products.
    • Drive technical debt reduction and simplify non-standard designs, legacy connectivity, and unsupported platforms.
    Vendor and Partner Governance
    • Govern network delivery from strategic partners, managed service providers, telecom carriers, Cisco, Arista, and network tooling vendors.
    • Review vendor designs, operational changes, implementation plans, support performance, and service quality against product standards.
    • Hold partners accountable for resiliency, documentation, standards compliance, operational readiness, and measurable outcomes.
