Network And System Support Engineer

Job Description:

We are looking for a technically strong Network & System Support Engineer to support a German healthcare technology customer from India. The role involves troubleshooting network connectivity, VPN, routers, gateways, Windows systems and IT infrastructure supporting medical and dental practices. We are looking for a hands-on technical troubleshooter with strong networking and infrastructure skills to ensure smooth IT operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, VPN and firewall connectivity issues.
• Support network infrastructure, routers, switches, servers and end-user devices.
• Diagnose complex connectivity and gateway configuration issues through systematic troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
• Provide L1/L2 support for Windows client/server environments, hardware, printers and software.
• Assist with IT setup and troubleshooting for medical practices and dental clinics.
• Document incidents, resolutions and technical procedures, coordinating with the support team for timely resolution.

Required Skills:

• 3 to 6 years of hands-on experience in network support, infrastructure support or system administration.
• Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals, VPN troubleshooting, routing, DNS and DHCP.
• Working experience with Windows desktop/server environments and IT hardware.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a German Team.
• Hands-on experience working with a ticketing/tracking tool like ServiceNow / JIRA
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts

Preferred Qualifications:

• CCNA certification or CompTIA Network+, Windows Server administration certification is an advantage.
• Knowledge of macOS, cloud-hosted infrastructure and healthcare IT systems.
• German language skills are an added advantage but are not mandatory.
