About this role
Job Description
Hands-on experience in network technologies, including Cisco product configuration
Working knowledge of LAN/WAN protocols and technologies
AWS associate architect-level knowledge (certification preferred)
Experience with application monitoring tools, or a willingness to work in such an environment
Basic understanding of visualization tools such as Grafana and Prometheus
Experience in monitoring setup and instrumentation using Grafana
Associate-level experience in Linux or Windows administration
Ability to make quick, sound decisions in challenging situations
Continuous learning and development mindset
Fluent English, both spoken and written. Please note: this role involves 12-hour shift work to ensure 24/7 operational coverage.
Roles & Responsibilities
Experience with firewalls and load balancers, e.g. Cisco, FortiGate, Illumio (virtual firewall technology), NetScaler or AVI
Relevant IT or network certifications, e.g. CCNA
Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Nagios or Sensu
Experience in monitoring setup and instrumentation using Checkly
Ability to remotely connect to and perform maintenance checks on Windows and Linux servers
