;Job Summary ;The Network Administrator will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and securing the organization s network infrastructure. This role requires strong hands-on expertise in routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, and network monitoring tools, along with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and ensure high availability of IT systems.
;Key Responsibilities ; Network Operations Maintenance
- ; Configure, manage, and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers
- ; Monitor network performance and ensure uptime, reliability, and scalability
- ;Manage LAN, WAN, WLAN, and VPN connectivity across multiple sites
; Security Compliance
- ;Implement and maintain network security controls (firewalls, IDS/IPS, ACLs)
- ; Conduct regular security assessments and patch updates
- ;Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards
; Infrastructure Management
- ;Administer IP addressing, DHCP, DNS, and VLAN configurations
- ;Manage bandwidth utilization and optimize network traffic
- ;Oversee backup, disaster recovery, and failover strategies
; Troubleshooting Support
- ;Diagnose and resolve network issues (Layer 2/3 troubleshooting)
- ; Provide Tier-2/3 support for escalated network problems

; Documentation Reporting
- ;Maintain updated network diagrams, asset inventory, and configuration records.
- ;Prepare performance reports and recommend improvements.

- ; Hardware Expertise: Cisco, Juniper, HP, Dell, Fortinet, Palo Alto.
- ; Security Tools: Firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, NAC solutions.
- ; Monitoring Tools: SolarWinds, Nagios, PRTG, Wireshark.
- ; Cloud Networking: AWS VPC, Azure Virtual Network, hybrid cloud connectivity.
- ; Virtualization Infrastructure: VMware, Hyper-V, SD-WAN solutions.
- ; Operating System: Moderate hands on experience on Linux and Windows Operating systems.
- ;Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- ;5+ years of hands-on experience in network administration.
- ;Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- ;Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) / Professional (CCNP).
