About this role
- We are seeking a skilled .Net Developer with 4 to 7 years of hands-on experience in building robust, scalable enterprise applications using C# and .Net Core frameworks.
- The ideal candidate will leverage GitHub Copilot and modern AI-assisted development tools to accelerate code generation, improve code quality, and streamline development workflows.
- Proficiency in C# is essential, including strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, LINQ, async/await patterns, and .Net Core middleware configuration.
- Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices using .Net Core, with a focus on performance optimization and maintainability.
- Candidates should demonstrate familiarity with version control systems and collaborative development practices, including effective use of GitHub Copilot for intelligent code suggestions and automated refactoring.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, including unit testing, integration testing, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment to cloud or on-premises environments.
- Ability to work in an Agile/Scrum team environment, participate in code reviews, contribute to technical documentation, and mentor junior developers when required.
- Commitment to writing clean, well-documented, and secure code following industry best practices and organizational coding standards.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance web applications and APIs using C# and .Net Core in alignment with business and technical requirements.
- Utilize GitHub Copilot effectively to enhance developer productivity, reduce repetitive coding tasks, and improve overall code consistency across the team.
- Collaborate with architects, product managers, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Conduct thorough code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices in C# and .Net Core development.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues in existing .Net Core applications, identifying root causes and implementing long-term fixes.
- Integrate third-party APIs, databases, and external services into .Net Core applications while ensuring security, reliability, and performance standards are met.
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, contributing to accurate effort estimation and timely delivery.
- Stay current with emerging trends in the .Net ecosystem, GitHub Copilot capabilities, and AI-assisted development tools, and advocate for their adoption within the team.
