About this role
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced .NET Architect with 9-15 years of hands-on experience in designing, building, and delivering enterprise-scale applications using Microsoft technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining application architecture, providing technical leadership, driving modernization initiatives, and ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions aligned with business objectives.
Responsibilities - Define end-to-end solution architecture for enterprise-grade applications using .NET Core/.NET 6+, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, and Microservices.
- Lead application modernization, cloud transformation, and migration initiatives.
- Design scalable and resilient systems leveraging Azure cloud services, containers, and event-driven architectures.
- Establish architecture standards, coding guidelines, security frameworks, and best practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, product owners, engineering teams, and business leaders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Conduct architecture reviews, design discussions, effort estimations, and technical risk assessments.
- Mentor development teams and provide technical leadership across projects.
- Drive DevOps adoption, CI/CD implementations, and application performance optimization.
- 9-15 years of experience in software development with strong expertise in C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core/.NET 6+, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, Entity Framework.
- Strong understanding of Microservices Architecture, RESTful APIs, Design Patterns, SOLID Principles, and Domain Driven Design (DDD).
- Experience with Azure Cloud Services such as App Services, Azure Functions, Service Bus, API Management, Azure SQL, and Storage Services.
- Expertise in containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong knowledge of DevOps practices and tools including Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD Pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with SQL Server and database design principles.
- Experience in application security, authentication, authorization, and performance tuning.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
- Technology->Architecture->Architecture - ALL, Technology->Microsoft Technologies->.NET Frameworks->.NET Core
- Exposure to event-driven architecture, message queues, and distributed systems.
- Experience in React, Angular, or modern front-end frameworks.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Terraform, and cloud-native development.
- Relevant Microsoft Azure certifications will be an added advantage.
- Bachelor's Degree: B.E / B.Tech or equivalent
- Master's Degree: M.Tech / MCA / M.Sc or equivalent (preferred)
