NBFC Compliance & Regulatory Officer

Regulatory Compliance

• Monitor and ensure compliance with RBI Master Directions, Circulars, Digital Lending Guidelines, Fair Practices Code, KYC/AML regulations, Outsourcing Guidelines, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
• Track new RBI notifications, circulars and regulatory changes and assess their impact on business operations.
• Maintain a regulatory compliance calendar and ensure timely completion of all compliance activities.
• Coordinate implementation of new regulatory requirements across departments.

RBI & Statutory Reporting

• Prepare, review and file periodic regulatory returns and statutory reports within prescribed timelines.
• Coordinate with RBI officials whenever required.
• Maintain records required during RBI inspections and supervisory reviews.
• Assist in preparation of documents during statutory audits, internal audits and regulatory inspections.

Credit Bureau & Regulatory Portal Management

• Upload borrower data accurately to Credit Information Companies (CIBIL, Experian, Equifax and CRIF High Mark).
• Ensure timely correction of rejected or disputed bureau records.
• Perform periodic reconciliation of bureau uploads.
• Manage submissions on RBI and other regulatory portals as applicable.

Coordination

• Liaise with internal departments including Credit, Collections, Operations, Legal, Finance and IT.
• Coordinate with Company Secretary, Statutory Auditors, Internal Auditors and Legal Consultants.
• Assist management during due diligence exercises and regulatory reviews.
