National Sales Manager - Generics

Role Overview:

Medopharm is looking for an experienced National Sales Manager to lead sales, distribution, business development and team management for its PAN India Generics Division.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive PAN India sales and business targets for the Generics Division.
• Develop and implement state-wise and territory-wise sales strategies.
• Expand and strengthen the distributor and channel network.
• Monitor sales performance, inventory, collections, expenses and profitability.
• Identify new markets, business opportunities and distribution partners.
• Lead, motivate and develop the PAN India sales team.
• Conduct regular business reviews and implement corrective action plans.
• Coordinate with Marketing, Commercial and Accounts teams for effective execution.
• Monitor competitor activities, market trends and customer feedback.
• Ensure optimum stock management and minimise expiries, returns and stock-outs.
• Support product launches and promotional campaign implementation.

Candidate Profile:

• Graduate/Postgraduate; MBA/PGDM in Sales & Marketing preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in pharmaceutical sales management.
• Experience in Generics or Branded Generics is preferred.
• Proven experience managing PAN India sales operations and large field teams.
• Strong knowledge of sales planning, distribution, budgeting and business development.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation and analytical skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively across India.
