About the Company
MR.GOLISODA is India's first organised Goli Soda franchise brand, owned by South Asian Foods Corporation (SAFC). The company operates on a Factory-to-Market model, with approximately 30 active franchises across Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand. Each franchise operates its own production unit and distributes products to retail outlets through vehicles on fixed market routes. The company is growing rapidly and is looking for an experienced leader to take complete ownership of its operations.
Role Summary
The National Franchise Operations Manager will be the head of all operations and production across every franchise in the country, as well as the operations of the company itself. The primary objective of this role is to ensure that every franchise factory produces sufficient stock every day, that every franchise always has adequate raw material, and that every vehicle goes to the market every day, without fail, loaded with at least the minimum required stock.
Key Responsibilities
1. Production Across All Franchises
Ensure that every franchise achieves its daily production target based on market route demand.
Monitor daily production, sales and closing stock for each franchise, and resolve any shortfall on the same
day.
Enforce product quality, hygiene, bottle handling and batch standards across all production units.
Plan production capacity for peak seasons and for new franchise launches.
2. Daily Vehicle Loading and Market Dispatch
Ensure that every franchise vehicle goes to the market every day, without fail.
Fix the minimum loading stock for every route and ensure that no vehicle leaves the factory with less than this quantity.
Conduct a daily loading check that compares the stock loaded against the route requirement, with sign-off before dispatch.
Ensure that vehicles, drivers and routes are ready every morning, and resolve any breakdown, driver absence or stock shortage on the same morning so that no route is missed.
Track the daily dispatch status of vehicles across all franchises and escalate any vehicle that has not left for the market.
3. Raw Material and Inventory Management
Ensure that every franchise always holds sufficient raw material, including flavours, carbon dioxide, sugar, bottles, crates, labels, stickers and packaging material.
Set minimum stock levels for each franchise and arrange replenishment before shortages occur.
Manage purchasing and vendor relationships for all operational materials, with a focus on cost, quality and timely delivery.
Control wastage, breakage and the return and rotation of bottles.
4. Franchise Operations
Take ownership of the day-to-day operations of all franchise units, including production, vehicle loading, dispatch and route readiness.
Ensure that all machines, visi-coolers and electrical equipment are correctly installed, maintained and in working condition, and minimise downtime.
Support new franchise launches, including factory set-up, machine installation, readiness of the first stock and training of the franchise team.
Conduct regular franchise visits and operational audits, and ensure that every gap identified is closed.
5. Company Operations
Head the operations of the company, including company-run units.
Lead the existing operations team and establish Standard Operating Procedures, checklists and daily
reporting for every operational process.
6. Reporting and Cost Control
Submit a daily operations report to the Chief Executive Officer covering production, stock levels, raw material status, vehicle dispatch, machine issues and wastage.
Conduct a weekly review of the operational health of each franchise and escalate concerns at an early stage.
Reduce the cost per bottle without compromising product quality.
Qualifications and Requirements
Eight to twelve years of experience in operations or production, including at least three to four years of leading operations across multiple locations.
Experience in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods, beverage, dairy, food processing or franchise-based manufacturing industry is preferred.
Strong knowledge of production planning, inventory control, purchasing and vendor management.
Ability to work with data, including daily reports, Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, and Enterprise Resource Planning or Distributor Management System software.
A hands-on approach and willingness to travel extensively across states.
Fluency in English and Hindi is required. Knowledge of Tamil, Telugu, Kannada or Marathi will be an advantage.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a person who takes complete ownership of problems rather than simply reporting them. If a franchise is likely to run short of stock tomorrow, the ideal candidate will have identified the risk today and resolved it.
Compensation
A competitive salary based on experience, along with performance-linked incentives.
