National Business Manager – Consumables

We are looking for a high-performing National Business Manager to lead and expand our Consumables vertical across India.

• This is a strategic, P&L-driven leadership role responsible for driving national revenue growth, gross margins, and market expansion for Proteintech and other key consumables portfolios, including antibodies, ELISA kits, recombinant proteins, and related reagents.
• The role involves full ownership of sales strategy, forecasting, distribution planning, vendor alignment, and team leadership.
• The incumbent will design and execute structured go-to-market strategies targeting Academia, Biopharma, CROs, Diagnostics, and Industrial segments, with a strong focus on building predictable and recurring revenue streams.
• Key responsibilities include achieving national sales targets, driving quarterly and annual growth plans, defining territory structures and KPIs, conducting pipeline reviews, and ensuring CRM discipline.
• The role also requires optimizing pricing strategies, protecting gross margins, managing inventory planning, strengthening order-to-delivery efficiency, and coordinating receivables with finance.
• As the primary interface for Proteintech and other international principals, the candidate will lead demand forecasting, product launches, and portfolio expansion initiatives.
• Continuous market intelligence, competitor tracking, and identification of growth opportunities in emerging markets will be critical to success.
• The ideal candidate will have 8-15 years of experience in Life Sciences consumables sales, strong domain knowledge, and a proven track record of building and leading high-performance, multi-regional sales teams.
