NABL Accreditation & Quality Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• NABL Compliance & Audits: Prepare, review, and maintain Quality Manuals, SOPs, and system documents. Successfully manage annual NABL surveillance audits, re-assessments, and mock audits.
• Equipment & Calibration Control: Oversee instrument calibration schedules. Calculate Measurement Uncertainty (MU) and ensure strict traceability of all test results to national/international standards.
• CAPA & Non-Conformity Management: Identify deviations, log Non-Conformities (NCs), and execute effective Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to ensure data integrity.
• Proficiency Testing (PT): Coordinate Inter-Laboratory Comparisons (ILC) and Proficiency Testing programs to validate the technical competency of testing/calibration activities.
• Training & Competence: Deliver regular training to lab analysts on QMS policies, test methods, and good laboratory practices.

Preferred candidate profile

• Education: B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Electronics, or Polymer Engineering (or an M.Sc. in relevant scientific disciplines).
• Certifications: Formally trained in ISO/IEC 17025:2017 or internal auditor certification from an authorized body.
• Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with equipment calibration, test validation protocols, and statistical analysis tools.
• Soft Skills: Meticulous eye for detail, strong technical report-writing skills, and cross-functional coordination ability.
