N8N Automation Engineer

About the Role We're Hiring: Automation Engineer (n8n) Let's be clear about what you're actually signing up for. This isn't about dragging a few nodes together or moving data from one tool to another. We're not looking for someone who built a handful of workflows and suddenly became an "Automation Expert." We're looking for builders. People who see inefficiencies as opportunities, think in systems, and can design automation that impacts revenue, operations, customer experience, hiring, product delivery, and business growth. At Techdome, automation isn't a support functionit's a business growth engine.

• You'll work across multiple business domains including AI, HealthTech, FinTech, Recruitment, Enterprise SaaS, and Internal Operations.
• You'll collaborate directly with founders, product leaders, and stakeholders to solve real business challenges through automation.
• You'll design, build, and scale automation systems that eliminate manual effort, improve efficiency, and create measurable business outcomes.
• From AI-powered workflows and API integrations to lead automation, customer journeys, and internal process orchestration—your work will have a direct impact on how businesses operate and scale.

Core Stack : n8n, APIs, Webhooks, JavaScript, Python, AI Integrations, Zapire, Make.

What We're Looking For :

• Strong hands-on experience with n8n and workflow automation platforms
• Deep understanding of workflows, triggers, webhooks, nodes, execution flows, and automation architecture
• Ability to build automation systems from scratch based on business requirements
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, OAuth, API Keys, JWT Authentication, JSON, and third-party integrations
• Experience with JavaScript and/or Python for custom scripting and data transformation
• Ability to debug, optimize, monitor, and scale production automation workflows
• Strong problem-solving skills with a business-first mindset
• Experience integrating CRMs, communication platforms, sales tools, databases, and internal systems
• Understanding of workflow security, permissions, access controls, and best practices
• Ability to translate manual business processes into scalable automated systems

Bonus Points If You Have :

• Experience with AI-powered workflows and LLM integrations
• Hands-on exposure to OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, or other AI APIs
• Experience with CRM, Sales, Recruitment, or Customer Success automations
• Portfolio of automation projects, workflow templates, or community contributions
• Experience designing automation solutions directly with clients or business stakeholders
• Understanding of KPIs and measuring automation impact on business outcomes

What Won't Work Here :

• Building workflows without understanding the underlying business problem
• Copy-pasting templates without customization or scalability
• Avoiding APIs, debugging, or technical problem-solving
• Waiting for step-by-step instructions instead of taking ownership
• Treating automation as a task rather than a business enabler
