MYSQL DATABASE DEVELOPER

Role Responsibilities

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in MySQL/Aurora MySQL development.
• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance MySQL/Aurora MySQL databases and applications.
• Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers to meet business requirements.
• Analyze and improve query performance using EXPLAIN plans, indexing strategies, and database tuning techniques.
• Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to ensure database scalability, reliability, and security.
• Manage database schema changes, data migrations, and DDL/DML operations in alignment with release cycles.
• Handle large-scale data workloads, identify performance bottlenecks, and implement effective solutions.
• Work with JSON data types in MySQL and support application integrations requiring semi-structured data.
