Multilayer BLOWN FILM Operator

Qualification: ITI/Diploma in Plastics Technology or a relevant technical discipline preferred. CIPET training will be an added advantage.

Experience: 1015 years operating three- or five-layer blown film lines with IBC and/or non-IBC systems.

Requirements & Responsibilities

• Independently handle start-up, shutdown, product changeovers and stable production.
• Good processing knowledge of LDPE, LLDPE, HDPE, metallocene PE, masterbatches and additives.
• Control temperatures, output, layer ratios, blow-up ratio, frost line, thickness and lay-flat width.
• Experience with blending, dosing, die and air-ring adjustments, bubble cooling and applicable IBC controls.
• Troubleshoot bubble instability, gauge variation, gels, melt fracture, wrinkles, blocking and winding defects.
• Operate corona treatment, haul-off and winding systems; ensure correct treatment level and roll quality.
• Experience with FFS, shrink, liner and lamination films will be an advantage.
• Achieve production targets and KPIs while reducing scrap, downtime and material losses.
• Perform routine machine care, die cleaning and screen changes; coordinate with maintenance.
• Maintain production records and guide helpers.
• Ensure workplace safety and compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 22000 systems.
