MS SQL Database Administrator,

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Design, implement, and maintain backup and recovery strategies for SQL databases to ensure business continuity in case of failures or disasters.
• Perform database migrations from one environment to another, ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity.
• Troubleshoot issues related to patching, replication, hardening, and failover clusters in a production environment.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize database performance, ensure data security compliance, and resolve complex technical issues.

Job Requirements :

• 4-8 years of experience as an MSSQL DBA with expertise in backup & recovery processes.
• Strong understanding of database troubleshooting techniques for identifying root causes of issues.
• Proficiency in performing backups using various tools such as T-SQL scripts or third-party software.
• Experience with migration projects involving schema changes or large-scale data transfers.
