Key Responsibilities

• Administer and optimize Microsoft Fabric tenants, workspaces, capacities, and OneLake.
• Manage F SKU/Premium capacity allocation, monitoring, scaling, and utilization.
• Establish governance standards for workspace creation, naming, lifecycle, access, and permissions.
• Manage Microsoft Entra ID groups, user roles, permissions, RLS, data access, and secure sharing.
• Govern OneLake storage, data organization, retention, and optimization.
• Monitor Fabric platform health, refresh schedules, pipelines, workloads, and capacity performance.
• Administer Power BI reports, semantic models, datasets, deployment pipelines, and gateways.
• Troubleshoot platform issues across Lakehouse, Warehouse, Data Engineering, Real-Time Analytics, and Power BI.
• Review audit logs, security policies, data classification, sensitivity labels, and compliance requirements.
• Support workspace onboarding, governance requests, documentation, training, and best-practice adoption.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of IT experience with strong Microsoft Fabric Administration experience.
• Hands-on experience administering Microsoft Fabric tenants, workspaces, capacities, and OneLake.
• Strong knowledge of Fabric governance, security, access management, and compliance.
• Experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), groups, roles, and permissions.
• Strong Power BI Administration experience including semantic models, datasets, reports, workspaces, and gateways.
• Experience with Fabric capacity monitoring, performance optimization, refresh failures, and pipeline monitoring.
• Hands-on Gateway administration and external data connection management.
• Knowledge of RLS, data masking, secure data sharing, audit logs, and data access policies.
• Strong platform troubleshooting and operational support experience.
• Ability to create and enforce governance standards, documentation, and best practices.
