About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Microsoft Fabric Architect to design, architect, and implement enterprise-scale data and analytics solutions. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory (ADF), SQL, PySpark/Python, and modern cloud data platforms. This role requires strong architectural experience, stakeholder management, and the ability to drive end-to-end data transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and implement scalable data platforms using Microsoft Fabric.
• Design and develop end-to-end data ingestion, transformation, and analytics solutions.
• Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Microsoft Fabric Data Factory.
• Design Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, and Real-Time Analytics solutions within Fabric.
• Develop high-performance data transformation processes using PySpark and Python.
• Create and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and data models.
• Establish data governance, security, and performance optimization strategies.
• Lead technical discussions, architecture reviews, and best practice implementation.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, architects, and leadership teams.
• Mentor development teams and provide technical guidance on cloud data solutions.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of overall IT experience in Data & Analytics.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric.
• Expertise in Azure Data Factory (ADF).
• Advanced proficiency in SQL.
• Strong programming experience in PySpark and Python.
• Experience designing Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, and Data Engineering solutions.
• Good understanding of Delta Lake, Spark optimization, and data modeling concepts.
• Experience with Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS Gen2).
• Strong knowledge of data integration, ETL/ELT frameworks, and orchestration.
• Experience in performance tuning and optimization of large-scale data workloads.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Microsoft Azure Certifications.
• Experience with Power BI and Fabric Analytics.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, Azure DevOps, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience with Data Governance and Security frameworks.
• Understanding of real-time and streaming data architectures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Microsoft Fabric or Azure Data certifications preferred.
