Job Summary
Responsible for managing the quality and supplier coordination of imported electronics wiring harnesses, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, quality standards, and production requirements. The role involves supplier quality management, incoming inspection, issue resolution, documentation control, and continuous quality improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with international suppliers for electronics wiring harness procurement and quality compliance.
- Perform incoming quality inspection and verification of wiring harnesses against drawings, specifications, and standards.
- Track supplier quality performance and drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Manage import-related quality documentation, inspection reports, and records.
- Investigate and resolve quality issues in coordination with suppliers, procurement, engineering, and production teams.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement process improvements to enhance product quality.
- Monitor inventory and support uninterrupted production through effective quality control measures.
- Ensure compliance with customer requirements, quality standards, and company procedures.
Qualifications
- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- 4-7 years of experience in Quality Engineering, Wiring Harnesses, Electronics Manufacturing, or Automotive Industry.
- Strong knowledge of electrical schematics, wiring harness drawings, and quality inspection methods.
- Experience in supplier quality management, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems.
- Knowledge of quality tools such as 8D, 5 Why, FMEA, SPC, and CAPA is preferred.
Preferred Industry
Automotive, Electronics Manufacturing, Industrial Automation, Wiring Harness Manufacturing, EV Industry.
