MPI engineer

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced MPI Inspector to perform Magnetic Particle Inspection on components and welds to identify surface and near-surface discontinuities and ensure compliance with applicable quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform MPI testing on welds, castings, forgings, and other ferromagnetic components.
• Set up and operate MPI equipment according to approved procedures.
• Interpret inspection results and identify/report relevant indications or defects.
• Prepare and maintain inspection reports and quality records.
• Ensure compliance with applicable NDT procedures, safety requirements, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with Quality and Production teams regarding inspection findings.

Requirements:

• Relevant MPI/NDT Level II certification or equivalent.
• Knowledge of MPI techniques, equipment, and defect interpretation.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and inspection procedures.
• Previous experience in manufacturing, fabrication, oil & gas, or a related industry preferred.
