We are looking for a detail-oriented Middle Office Analyst with 35 years of experience in Cash and Position Reconciliation. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of trade lifecycle, settlements, custody operations, and reconciliation processes. The role involves investigating and resolving reconciliation breaks, performing daily controls, managing escalations, and ensuring accurate reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily cash and position reconciliations across internal systems, custodians, banks, brokers, and accounting platforms.
• Investigate and resolve reconciliation breaks arising from settlement issues, missing transactions, timing differences, corporate actions, FX transactions, and trade booking errors.
• Conduct root cause analysis and ensure timely resolution of exceptions within agreed SLAs.
• Monitor and manage outstanding breaks, escalating high-risk or aged items when required.
• Execute daily operational controls and support audit and compliance activities.
• Prepare reconciliation MIS, exception reports, and management updates.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and improve reconciliation processes.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of trade lifecycle, cash and securities settlements, custody operations, corporate actions, and asset servicing.
• Hands-on experience in cash and position reconciliation within Middle Office or Investment Operations functions.
• Ability to interpret bank, custodian, broker, and settlement statements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Data Analysis).
• Experience with reconciliation and investment operations platforms.
• Knowledge of SWIFT messaging and custody systems will be an added advantage.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Experience

• 35 years of experience in Middle Office Operations, Investment Operations, and Reconciliation functions.
• Exposure to international markets and multi-currency environments preferred.
