About Olyv
Olyv is a technology-driven fintech platform focused on expanding access to digital financial products for emerging and underserved customer segments. We leverage technology, data, and customer-centric experiences to build accessible financial solutions at scale.
About the Role :
- We are looking for a Creative Designer (Motion) who combines strong visual design, motion, storytelling, and an understanding of digital culture.
- You will create engaging motion-led brand, social, and performance creatives across platforms. The role involves taking ideas from concept to execution — including visual ideation, design, motion graphics, video editing, shooting, and AI-assisted creative production.
- We are looking for someone who can think beyond execution, understands what makes content engaging, and can translate trends and ideas into high-quality, platform-native creative content.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop motion-led creative concepts for brand campaigns, social media, performance marketing, and digital platforms.
- Create engaging motion graphics, animated creatives, short-form videos, Reels, Shorts, and digital campaigns.
- Take creative projects from concept and storyboard to design, animation, editing, and final delivery.
- Create strong visual hooks, transitions, kinetic typography, pattern interrupts, and storytelling elements that capture attention.
- Design content across different formats and platforms while maintaining consistency with Olyv's brand identity.
- Create and adapt creatives for Instagram, Meta, YouTube, and other digital platforms.
- Edit and repurpose content into multiple formats, including 15–30 second social creatives, 60–90 second videos, brand films, and longer-form content.
- Work with video footage and confidently handle basic shooting, framing, lighting, and camera setups when required.
- Use tools such as After Effects, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Photoshop, Illustrator, and other relevant creative software.
- Explore and integrate AI-powered creative tools into design, animation, video, voice, and post-production workflows.
- Stay updated with social trends, creator formats, meme culture, visual trends, and platform-native content styles.
- Translate relevant trends into creative concepts that are appropriate for the Olyv brand.
- Collaborate with Brand, Marketing, Product, and other stakeholders to understand briefs and deliver creative solutions.
- Use creative performance data and audience insights to improve hooks, pacing, visual treatment, and content formats.
- Manage multiple creative projects and deliver high-quality work within agreed timelines.
What We're Looking For :
- 3–5 years of experience in creative design, motion design, visual communication, video, or a related field.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating motion design, social content, brand creatives, performance creatives, and visual storytelling.
- Strong proficiency in After Effects and Premiere Pro; familiarity with DaVinci Resolve is a plus.
- Good understanding of motion principles, typography, composition, transitions, visual hierarchy, and storytelling.
- Strong graphic design fundamentals with the ability to create visually compelling static and motion assets.
- Experience working with D2C, fintech, consumer-tech, app-based, or internet-first brands is preferred.
- Comfortable working with short-form, social-first, and performance-oriented content.
- Strong understanding of hooks, retention, pacing, and attention patterns in digital video.
- Comfortable with basic shooting and understanding of framing, composition, lighting, and camera setups.
- Good knowledge of AI creative tools such as Runway, Magnific, Google Flow, HeyGen, Higgsfield, AI voice tools, Sarvam AI, and AI captioning tools or similar platforms.
- Strong awareness of current internet culture, social trends, creator formats, and emerging visual styles.
- Ability to work independently from a brief while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
Nice to Have :
- Experience with Cinema 4D, Spline, Blender, or other 3D/motion tools.
- Experience creating content for a personal Instagram, YouTube, or creator page.
- Understanding of performance metrics such as Hook Rate, Thumb-Stop Ratio, VTR, CTR, and Skip Rate.
- Experience iterating creative based on performance data and audience behavior.
- Experience working in a fast-paced startup or high-growth environment.
