Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Motion Graphic Designer and Video Editor role based in Chennai. Those who have worked in the eLearning, Edtech, or Learning & Development industry are preferred. The role involves designing and producing motion graphics and video content for eLearning courses, marketing materials, and internal projects. The professional will collaborate with instructional designers, content developers, and project managers to translate learning objectives into visually compelling animations and videos. Daily activities include storyboarding, creating graphics and animations, editing video and audio, integrating visual elements with voiceovers, and optimizing outputs for different platforms and devices. The role also requires maintaining brand consistency, meeting project deadlines, and contributing creative ideas to enhance learner engagement. This role will require collaborating with our team to create visually impactful designs that meet our clients requirements and effectively communicate their message.

Key Responsibilities

• Design visually engaging graphics, illustrations, infographics and digital assets for eLearning courses.
• Develop creative concepts, storyboards, and visual themes for online learning modules.
• Create UI elements, icons, characters, backgrounds, and learning assets for interactive courses.
• Design graphics for videos, animations, motion graphics, and social media marketing initiatives.
• Ensure brand consistency across all learning and marketing materials.
• Review and provide design guidance to junior designers and team members.
• Optimize graphics for web, mobile, and LMS compatibility.
• Stay updated with emerging design trends, AI-powered design tools, and eLearning best practices.
• Manage multiple projects while adhering to deadlines and quality standards.

Required Skills Design Tools Knowledge

• Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator
• Adobe After Effects
• Adobe Premier Pro

Additional Skills

• Strong understanding of typography, color theory, composition and visual storytelling.
• Experience with After Effects, Premiere Pro, or motion graphics tools.
• Expertise in creating vector illustrations, infographics, and digital learning assets.
• Experience designing responsive learning content for desktop and mobile platforms.
• Knowledge of accessibility and learner experience design principles.
• Ability to interpret instructional content and convert it into visually engaging learning experiences.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AI-powered design tools such as Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, ChatGPT or similar creative AI platforms.

• Strong portfolio showcasing graphic design projects, illustrations, branding, and digital learning assets.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Passion for creating impactful learning experiences through design.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, Multimedia, Animation, or related field.
• Equivalent creative portfolio demonstrating strong design capabilities will also be considered.
