About Position We are seeking a skilled Monitoring & Observability Engineer to design, deploy, and operate scalable monitoring solutions across servers, networks, cloud, and hybrid environments. The ideal candidate will ensure proactive issue detection, reduce alert noise, streamline incident response, and provide clear visibility into service health. This role requires strong technical expertise, automation skills, and the ability to standardize best practices across the organization.

What You'll Do

• Design and run scalable monitoring solutions using LogicMonitor or SolarWinds, including collectors, polling engines, and high‑availability configurations
• Set up and maintain monitoring coverage for servers, networks, cloud, and hybrid environments
• Create alerting rules that reduce noise and highlight real issues using thresholds, baselines, dependencies, and suppression policies
• Develop custom monitoring through SNMP, APIs, PowerShell/Groovy scripting, and REST integrations
• Help teams rapidly detect, analyze, and resolve major incidents
• Integrate observability platforms with ITSM tools to streamline workflows
• Standardize and automate best practices across all observability implementations
• Provide clear, actionable reports on service health, availability, and performance

Expertise You'll Bring

• Strong hands-on experience with LogicMonitor or SolarWinds monitoring platforms
• Experience setting up collectors, pollers, and high‑availability configurations
• Proficiency in scripting using PowerShell, Groovy, or similar languages
• Experience developing SNMP- or API‑based custom monitoring
• Knowledge of ITSM integrations and incident workflows
• Strong understanding of monitoring best practices, alert design, and noise reduction
• Ability to support major incident detection, root‑cause analysis, and performance troubleshooting
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret monitoring data clearly
• Experience working across hybrid and cloud environments
