Monitoring Engineer - O&M (Solar & BESS)

Role & responsibilities

• Remote monitoring and troubleshooting of solar PV plants and BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) assets.
• Create and manage operation tickets to track issues.
• Prepare daily and periodic operation reports.
• Perform data extraction and data analytics to optimize plant performance.
• Work in rotational shifts covering morning, afternoon, and night schedules.

Preferred candidate profile

• Education: Engineering degree or M.Sc in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation & Control (I&C), Mechatronics, or Environmental Engineering/Science.
• Experience: 12 years of relevant experience specifically in solar power plants.
• Technical Skills: Strong IT background and deep proficiency in Microsoft Office / MS Excel.
• Language Skills: Fluent in English communication; knowledge of German or Japanese is a strong plus.
• Traits: Proactive approach, fast learner, and comfortable working from a central office monitoring center.
