Molecular Lab Technician

• Collect, receive, process, and prepare patient specimens for molecular testing.
• Perform molecular diagnostic techniques such as PCR, RT-PCR, DNA/RNA extraction, and sequencing.
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Analyze and interpret test results according to laboratory protocols.
• Maintain accurate records of test procedures and results.
• Follow laboratory quality assurance and quality control procedures.
• Adhere to biosafety, infection control, and regulatory guidelines.
• Assist in troubleshooting equipment and testing procedures.
• Collaborate with pathologists, microbiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of patient information.
