Job Summary
We are seeking a hands-on Senior Java Developer to design, build, test, and operate mission-critical Java backend services supporting high-impact enterprise applications. The role contributes to scalable, secure, and production-ready services across containerized Kubernetes platforms running on on-premises and AWS environments.
The ideal candidate brings strong experience in Java, Spring Boot, reactive systems using Spring WebFlux, PostgreSQL, and modern cloud-native development practices. Experience using Generative AI and agentic development tools to improve engineering productivity and software quality is desirable.

The ideal candidate brings strong experience in Java, Spring Boot, reactive systems using Spring WebFlux, PostgreSQL, and modern cloud-native development practices. Experience using Generative AI and agentic development tools to improve engineering productivity and software quality is desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable and resilient Java backend services for business-critical applications.
- Contribute to backend design, API contracts, data models, and non-functional requirements including performance, reliability, and security.
- Build containerized applications using Docker and deploy and operate them on Kubernetes platforms.
- Support application deployments across on-premises infrastructure and AWS environments.
- Develop reactive, non-blocking services using Spring Boot and Spring WebFlux.
- Design, optimize, and maintain PostgreSQL data layers for availability and performance.
- Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code and actively participate in peer reviews and technical design discussions.
- Troubleshoot complex application and production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement sustainable fixes.
- Integrate observability, security, and reliability practices into backend services.
- Collaborate with DevSecOps, SRE, platform, security, QA, and product teams to deliver production-ready software.
- Use Generative AI and agentic development tools responsibly to improve development velocity, code quality, testing, and maintainability.
- Share technical knowledge and provide guidance to other engineers when needed.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 7+ years of backend software development experience using Java.
- Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot and reactive programming using Spring WebFlux.
- Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and backend integrations.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.
- Experience deploying or operating applications in on-premises and AWS environments.
- Strong experience with PostgreSQL or a similar enterprise relational database.
- Experience with automated unit, integration, and component testing.
- Proven experience delivering reliable, production-grade backend systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with distributed systems, microservices, or event-driven architectures.
- Understanding of cloud-native and hybrid architecture patterns.
- Experience with messaging or streaming technologies such as Kafka.
- Experience integrating observability, security, and reliability practices into Kubernetes-based applications.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and secure software development practices.
- Hands-on experience using Generative AI tools or agentic frameworks in software development.
- Experience working in Agile product-development teams.
