Mobilizer

B K Welfare Foundation NGO is seeking a Mobilizer to identify and engage unemployed or underemployed youth for skill development programs. The role involves community outreach, candidate counselling, registration support, follow-up, and connecting participants with training and employment opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

A. Community Outreach & Mobilization

• Identify and engage unemployed or underemployed youth for skill development programs.
• Build relationships with community leaders, NGOs, schools, and other stakeholders to support youth mobilization.
• Conduct awareness campaigns, meetings, and sessions to promote training opportunities.

B. Youth Identification & Selection

• Screen and shortlist eligible youth based on program criteria.
• Provide career guidance and counselling to help youth choose suitable training programs.
• Promote inclusivity by reaching out to marginalized and disadvantaged groups.

C. Communication & Awareness Creation

• Develop and distribute informational materials, including brochures, posters, and social media content.
• Organize community events, door-to-door visits, and digital outreach campaigns.
• Use social media and other digital platforms to reach a wider audience.

D. Registration & Enrollment Support

• Assist young people with application and registration procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of interested and enrolled candidates.
• Coordinate with training providers to facilitate smooth admissions.

E. Monitoring & Follow-up

• Track attendance and engagement of enrolled participants.
• Provide mentorship and motivation to help participants complete their training.
• Assist in linking trained candidates with employment or further skill-enhancement opportunities.

Candidate Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Social Work, Community Development, Education, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience in youth mobilization, community work, or skill development programs.
• Experience working with NGOs, government agencies, or employment services is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel within assigned communities and work flexible hours, including weekends if needed.
