Role & responsibilities

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Mobile Application Team Lead who has strong knowledge of both Android and iOS app development. The candidate should be able to lead the mobile development team, manage project delivery, guide developers, review code, and ensure the successful development of high-quality mobile applications.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in mobile app development, good problem-solving skills, and the ability to coordinate with project managers, designers, QA teams, and clients when required.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the mobile application development team.
• Handle end-to-end mobile app development for Android and iOS platforms.
• Guide developers in technical planning, coding standards, debugging, and best practices.
• Review code and ensure clean, scalable, and maintainable development.
• Work closely with project managers, designers, backend developers, and QA teams.
• Understand project requirements and convert them into technical solutions.
• Monitor project timelines and ensure timely delivery of assigned tasks.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and support the team in resolving bugs.
• Ensure app performance, security, responsiveness, and user-friendly functionality.
• Manage app deployment on Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
• Stay updated with the latest mobile app development trends, tools, and technologies.
• Communicate project progress, challenges, and solutions clearly with the internal team.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Android and iOS app development.
• Experience with Java/Kotlin for Android development.
• Experience with Swift/Objective-C for iOS development.
• Knowledge of cross-platform frameworks such as Flutter or React Native will be an added advantage.
• Good understanding of REST APIs, third-party API integration, and payment gateway integration.
• Experience with mobile app architecture, performance optimization, and debugging.
• Knowledge of Firebase, push notifications, maps, analytics, and crash reporting tools.
• Experience with Git or other version control systems.
• Understanding of UI/UX implementation for mobile applications.
• Knowledge of app store submission and approval processes.

• Should have experience leading a mobile app development team.
• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced development environment.
• Should be able to take ownership of projects from planning to final delivery.
