About the role MangoApps powers the daily mobile experience for large frontline enterprises workforces in retail, manufacturing, healthcare, logistics, and beyond, often using our apps on shared and across a wide range of OS versions, and frequently on weak or intermittent connectivity. end-to-end ownership of quality for our native iOS and Android apps . You'll work alongside Product Managers, Engineering Managers, and other stakeholders to drive every stage of test management strategy, planning, estimation, execution, defect management, and reporting and you'll be the person who can confidently sign off a release as ready for the field. Your goal isn't to find bugs. It's to make the product demonstrably reliable for the people who depend on it to do their jobs. And you do that with an
automation-first mindset : you'd rather build a test that catches a regression every release than re-run the same check by hand.
What you'll own
- Define and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for iOS and Android, with coverage that reflects how frontline users actually behave across devices, OS versions, screen sizes, and network conditions.
- Build and grow
automated test suites and frameworks so regression coverage scales with the product instead of consuming the team.
- Design complex test scenarios that validate behavior under real-world stress: edge cases, boundary conditions, offline and poor-connectivity states, sync conflicts, and device fragmentation.
- Create realistic, large-scale test data to simulate genuine enterprise usage at scale.
- Run regular regression testing to catch issues introduced by new work before customers do.
- Document and prioritize defects in a bug-tracking system and partner with engineering to drive timely resolution.
- Test across quality dimensions beyond functionality for performance, security, compatibility, and usability, so the experience holds up across the full device landscape.
- Produce clear test reports (results, defect metrics, quality signals) that give stakeholders real visibility into release readiness.
Must have
- 5+ years in mobile QA, ideally in an enterprise environment.
- Strong hands-on expertise testing native iOS and Android apps , with a working understanding of how mobile apps are built on both platforms.
- Proven experience testing across diverse device / OS / configuration combinations and a real grasp of mobile-specific risks like fragmentation, connectivity, and battery/performance behavior.
- An automation mindset with hands-on experience building or maintaining automated mobile test scripts and frameworks.
- Solid command of mobile testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Skill in writing clear, concise, comprehensive test cases and scripts.
- Excellent communication, and the ability to work independently and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Nice to have
- Experience testing apps used by large frontline or deskless workforces.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated mobile tests into them.
- Experience with performance and security testing tooling for mobile.
