Role & responsibilities

Must Have Skills

• Strong experience in Android application development using Java and Kotlin
• Expertise in Android SDK, Android Studio, Gradle
• Experience with Jetpack Components (ViewModel, LiveData, Navigation, Room)
• Strong knowledge of MVVM/MVP/MVC architecture patterns
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs, JSON, Retrofit, Volley
• Knowledge of Material Design Guidelines
• Experience in SQLite, Room Database
• Proficiency in Git, GitHub, Bitbucket
• Experience with Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, Push Notifications)
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
• Experience in unit testing and UI testing (JUnit, Espresso)
• Strong debugging and performance optimization skills
• Knowledge of Play Store deployment and release management
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android mobile applications.
• Translate business requirements and UI/UX designs into scalable mobile solutions.
• Develop reusable, efficient, and maintainable code using Kotlin and Java.
• Integrate applications with RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Implement Android Jetpack components and modern architectural patterns.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, UI/UX Designers, QA teams, and backend developers.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues to enhance performance and stability.
• Optimize application performance, memory usage, and battery consumption.
• Implement security best practices including authentication and data encryption.
• Develop unit tests and automate testing processes to ensure application quality.
• Manage application releases, versioning, and deployments through Google Play Store.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to the team.
• Stay updated with emerging Android technologies, frameworks, and industry trends.
