Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for a Mobile Application Developer, based in Chennai, with flexibility for partial work-from-home. The Mobile Application Developer will design, build, and maintain mobile applications that support Furniconcepts’ customers, partners, and internal teams. Daily responsibilities include developing new features, optimizing performance, fixing bugs, and ensuring a seamless user experience across platforms. The role involves collaborating with product, design, and backend engineering teams to translate business requirements into scalable mobile solutions, as well as participating in code reviews and contributing to technical documentation. The developer will also help integrate applications with existing systems, implement best practices in security and testing, and stay current with evolving mobile technologies relevant to Furniconcepts’ digital offerings.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Mobile Application Development and experience working with Mobile Applications and Application Development lifecycles.
• Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and their practical application in mobile projects.
• Hands-on experience in iOS Development, including building, testing, and deploying apps to the App Store.
• Experience with at least one modern mobile framework or toolkit (e.g., Swift, SwiftUI, React Native, Flutter, or Kotlin Multiplatform) and related tooling.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and integration with backend services.
• Knowledge of mobile UI/UX best practices, performance optimization, and secure coding standards.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage time independently.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Prior experience in product-based or design-focused companies is an advantage; familiarity with furniture, interior design, or retail domains is a plus.
