About this role
We are looking for a motivated Mobile Application Developer with 0-3 years of experience to join our development team. The candidate will be responsible for developing, testing, debugging, and maintaining mobile applications for Android and/or iOS platforms.
The ideal candidate should have good programming fundamentals, knowledge of mobile application development frameworks, and an understanding of REST APIs, databases, version control, and mobile application lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities - Develop, test, and maintain mobile applications based on business and technical requirements.
- Work with senior developers and technical leads to understand application requirements.
- Design and develop responsive and user-friendly mobile application interfaces.
- Integrate mobile applications with REST APIs and backend services .
- Implement application features, validations, navigation, authentication, and data handling.
- Perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of mobile applications.
- Identify and fix application defects and performance issues.
- Participate in code reviews and follow development coding standards.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend developers, QA engineers, and project managers.
- Perform application testing across different devices and screen sizes.
- Ensure application compatibility across supported Android/iOS versions.
- Maintain technical documentation related to application development.
- Use Git or other version-control systems for source code management.
- Support application deployment to testing and production environments.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide fixes under the guidance of senior developers.
Candidates should have knowledge of at least one of the following mobile development technologies:
Android - Java / Kotlin

Candidates with exposure to any of the following will also be considered:
- Flutter / Dart
- React Native / JavaScript / TypeScript
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
- Good knowledge of RESTful APIs and API integration.
- Understanding of JSON and HTTP/HTTPS.
- Basic knowledge of SQL/database concepts.
- Experience with Git/GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket.
- Understanding of mobile application architecture and lifecycle.
- Basic understanding of authentication mechanisms such as JWT/OAuth is an advantage.
- Knowledge of debugging and logging techniques.
- Basic understanding of application security and secure coding practices.
- Work closely with senior developers to understand development standards and best practices.
- Develop assigned modules/features under technical guidance.
- Fix bugs identified during QA testing.
- Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code.
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
- Learn and implement new mobile development technologies as required.
