Mobile App (Flutter) Developer Intern

About The Role We are looking for a motivated Flutter Intern to join our engineering team and help design, develop, and maintain mobile applications for Android and iOS platforms. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience building mobile applications using Flutter and Dart, working closely with designers and developers to implement features, integrate APIs, and improve app performance. This internship is an excellent opportunity for candidates interested in building a career in mobile app development.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in designing and developing mobile applications using Flutter and Dart for Android and iOS.
• Convert UI/UX designs into responsive and pixel-perfect Flutter screens and widgets.
• Integrate REST APIs, Firebase services, and third-party SDKs into mobile applications.
• Participate in testing, debugging, and performance optimization to ensure app stability and reliability.
• Collaborate with developers, designers, and product managers during feature development and discussions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-structured code following best development practices.
• Participate in code reviews and team discussions to improve code quality.
• Document application features, technical updates, and basic usage guides when required.
• Stay updated with the latest Flutter, Dart, and mobile development practices.

Required Skills

• Understanding of mobile application development fundamentals, including navigation, app lifecycle, state management basics, and asynchronous programming.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and JSON data handling.
• Basic knowledge of Git and version control workflows.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Good To Have (Preferred)

• Experience with Flutter state management libraries such as Provider, Riverpod, Bloc, or GetX.
• Exposure to Firebase services such as Authentication, Firestore, or Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM).
• Basic understanding of native Android (Kotlin/Java) or iOS (Swift) concepts.
• Personal projects, published apps, or GitHub portfolio demonstrating mobile development experience.
• Participation in hackathons or college development projects.
