Mobile App Developer Tech Lead

Role & responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of Android and iOS mobile applications.
• Define mobile application architecture, technical standards, and development practices.
• Develop and review applications using React Native, TypeScript, and/or Flutter.
• Integrate REST APIs, WebSockets, push notifications, authentication, and third-party services.
• Implement mobile features such as maps, location tracking, payments, biometric authentication, camera, and deep linking.
• Optimize application performance, memory usage, startup time, and network efficiency.
• Ensure application security, secure data storage, and proper permission handling.
• Manage testing, builds, CI/CD, app releases, and production deployments.
• Conduct code reviews and maintain clean, scalable, and maintainable code.
• Collaborate with backend developers and the CTO on technical and architectural decisions.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to the mobile development team.
• Troubleshoot production issues and continuously improve application stability and performance.

Preferred candidate profile

• 4 TO 6 years of mobile app development experience.
• Strong experience in React Native + TypeScript.
• Knowledge of Flutter, Android and iOS.
• Good understanding of REST APIs and mobile integrations.
• Experience with Firebase/FCM, Redux/Zustand/BLoC/Riverpod.
• Knowledge of mobile security and performance optimisation.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD and app deployment.
• Tech leadership, mentoring, and strong problem-solving skills.
• B.E./B.Tech/MCA in Computer Science/IT or related field preferred.
