Role Description The ML Engineer role at Funic Tech is a full-time, on-site position based in Hyderabad. In this role, the ML Engineer will design, build, and deploy machine learning models and pipelines to solve complex business problems, with a focus on pattern recognition and predictive analytics. Day-to-day responsibilities include researching and selecting appropriate algorithms, working with large datasets, performing feature engineering, and optimizing models for performance and scalability. The ML Engineer will collaborate closely with software engineers, data engineers, and product teams to integrate models into production systems and ensure reliability. The role also involves documenting solutions, reviewing code, and staying current with advances in machine learning, neural networks, and related fields.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science and Algorithms, with experience designing efficient, scalable solutions.
• Hands-on expertise in Pattern Recognition and Neural Networks for real-world machine learning applications.
• Solid understanding of Statistics and related analytical methods to support robust model development and evaluation.
• 8+ years of professional experience in machine learning engineering, data science, or closely related fields.
• Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in ML (such as Python) and frameworks (such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar).
• Experience working with large-scale data processing tools and platforms (for example, SQL, Spark, or cloud-based ML services).
• Ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams, communicate technical concepts clearly, and produce well-structured documentation.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
