MIS & Finance Analyst

Role & responsibilities

MIS & Financial Reporting

Prepare and publish periodic MIS reports covering financial performance, investments, revenues, expenses, cash flows, and other key financial parameters.

Develop and maintain dashboards and management reports for senior management and family office stakeholders.

Analyse financial data and identify key trends, variances, risks, and performance indicators.

Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely submission of MIS reports.

Financial Analysis & Analytics

Conduct variance analysis against budgets, forecasts, and previous periods and highlight key deviations.

Support budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and management reporting activities.

Generate actionable insights from financial and investment data to support management decision-making.

Develop financial models and analytical reports as required. Data Management & Process Improvement

Consolidate financial and investment-related data from multiple sources and ensure data integrity.

Maintain structured databases and reporting templates for effective financial analysis.

Identify opportunities to automate and streamline MIS and reporting processes.

Ensure consistency and standardisation of financial reports and dashboards.

Stakeholder Management

Coordinate with Finance, Investment, Wealth Management, and other internal stakeholders to collect and validate required information.

Work closely with senior management to understand reporting requirements and provide customised MIS and analytical insights.

Support preparation of presentations and reports for management reviews and business discussions.

Investment & Portfolio Reporting

Track and analyse investment-related data, portfolio performance, returns, and key financial metrics.

Prepare periodic portfolio and investment performance reports for management review.

Support the team in analysing financial and investment opportunities through relevant data and insights.

Qualifications Required:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

MBA/PGDM in Finance or relevant professional qualification

Strong proficiency in MS Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS/COUNTIFS, dashboards, and data analysis. Experience Required:

2-5 years of relevant work experience in MIS, Finance, Financial Analytics, or Management Reporting.

Preferably from Financial Services, Family Offices, Wealth Management, Investment Firms, NBFCs, or related sectors.

Experience in preparing management MIS, financial dashboards, analytical reports, and performance reports.

Candidates with exposure to investment/portfolio reporting and financial analysis will be preferred.

Skills & Competencies:

Strong MIS & Financial Analytics skills.

Excellent proficiency in MS Excel and data visualisation/dashboarding. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Good understanding of financial statements and key financial metrics. Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.

Ability to interpret complex financial data and present meaningful insights.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and dynamic family office environment.
