About the Role
We’re looking for a detail-driven MIS professional to support our Fruits & Vegetables category. You’ll own the category’s data and reporting, track freshness, wastage, pricing, and fill rates, and give the category and supply chain teams the insights they need to make fast daily decisions in a perishable, high-velocity business.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly MIS dashboards covering sales, GMV, margins, availability, fill rate, and wastage/shrinkage for the FnV category.
- Track and analyze wastage, dump, and expiry by SKU, city, and dark store/warehouse, and highlight drivers and corrective actions.
- Monitor pricing, mandi rates, and competitor prices, and support the category team with price benchmarking and margin analysis.
- Support demand forecasting and indent planning by analyzing historical sales, seasonality, and day-of-week trends.
- Track vendor and farmer performance (fill rate, quality rejections, on-time delivery) and prepare vendor scorecards.
- Reconcile purchase orders, GRNs, invoices, and inventory data, flagging gaps between procurement, warehouse, and sales data.
- Automate recurring reports using advanced Excel, Google Sheets, SQL, and BI tools to reduce manual effort.
- Prepare business review decks and ad-hoc analyses for category heads and leadership.
- Coordinate with category, procurement, supply chain, finance, and tech teams to ensure data accuracy and timely reporting.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Graduate in any discipline (B.Com / BBA / B.Sc / B.Tech preferred); MBA or PGDM is a plus.
- 2–5 years of experience in MIS, reporting, or business analytics, preferably in FnV, fresh, grocery, quick commerce, e-commerce, retail, or FMCG.
- Advanced Excel / Google Sheets (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, INDEX-MATCH, Macros, Power Query).
- Working knowledge of SQL; experience with Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or Metabase preferred.
- Understanding of perishables metrics such as wastage %, shelf life, fill rate, and inventory turns.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to work under tight daily timelines.
- Good communication skills to present data clearly to stakeholders.
Good to Have
- Experience with ERP/WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or in-house platforms).
- Exposure to mandi/APMC sourcing and farm-to-fork supply chains.
- Basic Python or Apps Script for automation.
