MIS & Data Analysis Engineer (Power Sector)

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced MIS & Data Analysis Engineer with a strong background in the power sector, particularly in project monitoring, MIS reporting, data analysis, and IT-based dashboard management. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of GIS mapping for electrical distribution networks and billing-related tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and analyze project-related MIS data and prepare periodic reports for monitoring project progress and performance.
• Develop, maintain, and monitor IT-based dashboards for project tracking and performance analysis.
• Perform data analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
• Handle GIS mapping activities related to electrical distribution networks.
• Work with billing-related tools and maintain accurate project and operational data.
• Prepare management reports, presentations, and project updates using MS Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office tools.
• Coordinate with project teams and stakeholders to collect, validate, and consolidate data.
• Ensure data accuracy, timely reporting, and effective documentation of project activities.

Required Skills

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the power sector, preferably in electrical distribution projects.
• Strong experience in MIS reporting, data analysis, and project monitoring.
• Working knowledge of GIS mapping for electrical distribution networks.
• Familiarity with billing-related software and tools.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Office applications.
• Strong analytical, reporting, coordination, and presentation skills.

Education

BE / B. Tech in IT, Computer Science, Computer Applications, or a relevant discipline.
