A minibar attendant is responsible for stocking, inventorying, and billing guest room minibars while maintaining cleanliness and exceptional customer service standards in a hotel . Operating typically within the housekeeping or food and beverage department, this role ensures that in-room refreshment centers are clean, sanitary, accurately tracked for revenue capture, and fully stocked according to brand standards.

• Stocking and Replenishment: Service assigned guest rooms daily to restock consumed beverages, snacks, and ancillary items based on predetermined par levels.
• Inventory Tracking and Billing: Audit daily consumption, record items used, and accurately post charges to the guest folio or property management system.
• Product Quality Control: Inspect expiration dates daily and rotate stock using the FIFO (First-In, First-Out) method to ensure maximum product freshness.
• Cleanliness and Sanitation: Clean, defrost, and sanitize minibar refrigerators and cabinets, ensuring proper menus and price lists are present and clean.
• Equipment and Maintenance Reporting: Verify that refrigeration units operate correctly and report any mechanical malfunctions or room damage immediately to engineering or housekeeping management.
• Guest Relations: Respond to guest inquiries and requests discreetly and professionally while respecting guest privacy (e.g., adhering to "Do Not Disturb" protocols)
