Mines Foreman

Role & responsibilities :-

• Supervise daily mining operations, including drilling, blasting, excavation, loading, and transportation of limestone.
• Ensure safe and efficient deployment of manpower, mining equipment, and contractors.
• Monitor compliance with DGMS regulations, Mines Act, and statutory safety requirements.
• Conduct workplace inspections and implement corrective actions for safe mining practices.
• Maintain production records, shift reports, and mine development progress.
• Coordinate with geology, maintenance, and production teams to achieve mining targets.
• Ensure proper bench formation, haul road maintenance, and mine planning execution.
• Participate in safety trainings, audits, and emergency preparedness activities.

Preferred candidate profile:-

Valid DGMS Foreman Certificate of Competency (Unrestricted/Restricted as applicable).
