About this role
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead Mine Technical Services covering mine planning, geology & grade control, survey, geotechnical/water controls and reconciliation.
- Manage short-, medium- and long-term mine planning, scheduling and optimization.
- Oversee resource modelling, grade control, survey accuracy, geotechnical monitoring and mine water management.
- Drive tonnage & grade reconciliation, variance analysis and corrective actions.
- Lead multidisciplinary technical teams and provide technical reports to senior management.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Degree in Mining Engineering, Geology or related discipline.
- 8 to 12+ years of relevant mining technical experience; age below 45 years.
- Strong exposure to Mine Planning, Grade Control, Resource Modelling, Survey, Geotechnical and Reconciliation.
- Experience with Deswik / Datamine / Leapfrog / Surpac / Vulcan preferred.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder-management skills.
- Willing to relocate to Lubumbashi, DRC.
