Middleware - MuleSoft Administrator

Role & responsibilities

• Administer, monitor, and support MuleSoft Any point Platform environments.
• Manage CloudHub, Runtime Manager, API Manager, Exchange, and Anypoint Monitoring.
• Perform deployment, configuration, upgrades, patching, and platform maintenance activities.
• Monitor application health, performance, and availability; proactively address issues.
• Troubleshoot middleware, integration, API, and connectivity issues.
• Configure and manage VPNs, load balancers, certificates, secrets, and access controls.
• Support CI/CD integration using Jenkins, GitHub, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
• Implement backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability strategies.
• Manage platform capacity planning, performance tuning, and resource optimization.
• Ensure compliance with security, governance, and operational standards.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, cloud, and application teams.
• Participate in incident, problem, change, and release management processes.
• Create operational documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles.

Required Skills

• 6-8 years of overall IT experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on MuleSoft Administration experience.
• Strong knowledge of:
• MuleSoft Anypoint Platform
• CloudHub / Runtime Fabric
• API Manager
• Anypoint Monitoring
• Anypoint Exchange
• Runtime Manager
• Experience with Linux/Unix administration.
• Knowledge of networking concepts including DNS, VPN, SSL/TLS, Load Balancing, and Firewalls.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, GitHub, Azure DevOps.
• Understanding of API lifecycle management and integration architecture.
• Experience in monitoring and observability tools.

Preferred candidate profile

• MuleSoft Certified Administrator or Developer certification.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Runtime Fabric.
• ITIL foundation knowledge.
• Exposure to enterprise integration patterns and API-led connectivity.
