Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Middle Tier / Web Service Developer (C#) with 6+ to 10 years of hands-on software development experience to design, develop, enhance, and maintain scalable middle-tier applications and web services.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in C#, .NET/.NET Core, Web API, REST/SOAP services, SQL Server, and backend application development, with a solid understanding of enterprise application architecture and integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain middle-tier applications and web services using C# and .NET technologies.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, Web APIs, and SOAP-based web services.
• Build scalable and high-performance backend services and business logic.
• Translate business and technical requirements into robust software solutions.
• Develop integrations between applications, databases, and external systems.
• Write efficient, maintainable, and reusable C#/.NET code.
• Work with SQL Server to develop queries, stored procedures, and database integrations.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application and production issues.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and participate in code reviews.
• Ensure applications meet performance, security, scalability, and reliability requirements.
• Work closely with architects, business analysts, QA teams, and other developers.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum development activities, sprint planning, and technical discussions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for services and integrations.

Required Skills & Experience

• 6+ to 10 years of professional software development experience — Mandatory.
• Strong hands-on experience with C#.
• Strong experience with .NET / .NET Core / ASP.NET / ASP.NET Core.
• Hands-on experience developing Web Services and Web APIs.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and SOAP Web Services.
• Experience working with JSON, XML, HTTP/HTTPS, and API integrations.
• Strong experience with SQL Server and SQL.
• Good understanding of object-oriented programming and software design principles.
• Experience developing business logic and middle-tier/application-service components.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Git or other source-control systems.
• Good understanding of SDLC and Agile development methodologies.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Microservices architecture.
• Experience with Azure or other cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of messaging technologies and enterprise integration patterns.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with authentication and authorization mechanisms such as OAuth 2.0, JWT, or similar technologies.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks.
• Experience working in large-scale enterprise applications.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a strong backend/middle-tier C#/.NET developer who has significant experience building and supporting enterprise-level web services and APIs. Candidates whose experience is primarily focused on front-end development (Angular/React/UI) without strong middle-tier/backend development experience will not be a good fit.

Important: Candidates must have 6+ years of relevant professional experience, with strong hands-on experience in C#, .NET, Web Services/Web API, and SQL Server.
